Elden Ring: Shadow of The Erdtree introduces an expansive new set of weapons and classes in the Realm of Shadow, significantly enhancing the already vast arsenal available to players. 1. Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword
The Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword is a colossal sword with exceptional scaling in Strength, Dexterity, and Arcane. It's an absolute powerhouse, capable of demolishing anything in its path. This weapon comes with the innate Ash of War, "White Light Charge," which deals devastating piercing damage.
Location
To acquire this weapon, start at the Ruined Forge of Starfall Pass, located southwest of Moorth Ruins. Begin at the Site of Grace, cross the small bridge ahead, and pull the lever on your left. Jump down to the right of the bridge and proceed through the hallway. After entering a large room, head right and continue down another hallway until you find a ladder near the second Fire Slime.
Climb the ladder, follow the corridor to the main hall of the ruined forge, and use the rubble on the left to climb up. Pass through the door, and when you reach a chained platform, jump down onto the short bridge below, to the northeast. Pull the nearby lever twice, and as the gate rises, jump onto it. Move left to find a furnace, where you will discover the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword.
2. Stone Sheathed Sword and Sword of Darkness
The Stone Sheathed Sword is a new Straight Sword with the potential to convert into different variants, such as the Sword of Darkness and the Sword of Light. These variants enhance the weapon's damage, scaling, and Ashes of War. The base weapon comes with the "Square Off" Ash of War, allowing for an upward slice.
Location
Begin at the Castle Front Site of Grace, and move northwest to the Fog Rift Catacombs. Descend into the Catacombs until you reach the second main hall with three giant spike traps. Navigate through the area safely, using the spaces in the left wall until you reach a platform. Defeat the NPC, then wait for the traps to descend. When they do, jump onto the small climbable opening behind the trap.
After the trap ascends, jump onto the platform at the second level. A chest containing Blinkbolt's Ash of War can be found there. When the trap descends again, climb onto its roof and run straight. At the end of the path on the right, interact with the Altar in the hallway to receive the Stone Sheathed Sword.
Converting to Sword of Darkness
With the Stone Sheathed Sword in hand, you can now convert it into the Sword of Darkness. Start at the Castle Watering Hole Site of Grace in Lower Scadu Altus. Use Torrent to rush forward to the Ruins of Unte. After awakening the Furnace Golem blocking the entrance with a Hefty Furnace Pot, enter the ruins.
Inside, find the Altar on the main grounds, which resembles the one in Fog Rift Catacombs. Interact with it to convert the Stone Sheathed Sword into the Sword of Darkness. This variant is equipped with the "Darkness" Ash of War, which cleaves the surroundings with darkness, dealing Holy damage and reducing the enemy's Holy damage negation.
3. Sword of Light
The process of converting the Stone Sheathed Sword or Sword of Darkness into the Sword of Light is similar to the previous steps but requires finding a specific Altar. The Sword of Light's Ash of War, "Light," bathes a small area with rays of light, dealing Holy damage and boosting the player's Holy attacks.
Converting to Sword of Light
From the Rauh Ancient Ruins, West Site of Grace, head southwest into a nearby cave. After ascending the stairs, continue north. Upon reaching the outside, proceed north until you enter a Scarlet Rot Cave. Navigate through the cave until you reach a hallway, then turn right and exit through the two giant gates.
To find the Light Altar, move left from the balcony between the gates, and cross the invisible bridge ahead. The Altar is located at the end of this path, where you can convert the Stone Sheathed Sword or Sword of Darkness into the Sword of Light.
4. Euporia
Euporia is arguably the most unique and eccentric weapon in Shadow of the Erdtree. This twin-blade scales with Faith and deals significant Holy damage. Its Ash of War, "Euporia Vortex," spins the weapon at high speed, releasing golden rays that deal both Holy and Slash damage.
Location
Obtaining Euporia requires extensive platforming within Enir-Ilim, the final dungeon of the expansion. Starting from the First Rise Site of Grace, head southwest and ascend the stairs. Midway up, defeat the enemy that attacks, then move north and descend into a room.
From the broken balcony ahead, jump down to a staircase and head south. Locate the broken railing behind a miniature statue and descend to the platform below, then follow the wall arches until you reach a pillar. Drop down onto a thin platform, and continue left to another staircase.
Descend until you reach the cut-off section, then look south to spot a door. Jump through this door to reach the lower area of Enir-Ilim, the Belurat Settlement. Use the elevator to your right to descend, and continue down the staircases until you reach the final elevator. Euporia can be found near a deserted corpse behind the giant door at the bottom.
